Journey in model: Hokusai artwork featured in new Japanese passports

The Japanese authorities will begin issuing passports that includes designs primarily based on the works of ukiyo-e artist Katsushika Hokusai from as early as this month.

The visa part of the brand new passports will embrace designs from the Edo-period artist’s Thirty-Six Views Of Mt Fuji.
